The full fifty metres runs from that same single point, with the same brightness at the end as at the beginning.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eIf the light rope needs to be longer next month, you buy one additional reel. If it needs to be shorter, you detach one and take it to your next project. Amber and white connect to the same power cord. Whether that is permitted depends on your exemption.u003c/pu003e

u003cpu003eOur rope light distributes light evenly across every metre. 222 LEDs per metre under a 120-degree beam angle deliver 1,050 lumens of amber light per metre, from the first metre to the last. Someone working twenty metres away sees exactly the same as someone standing at the connection point.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eNocturnal animals are most sensitive to the blue part of the spectrum. Amber contains virtually none of it: an extra warm white around 2200K, with a peak near 600 nanometres. Flight paths, hunting grounds and resting sites remain largely undisturbed, while you can still see where you are walking and what you are doing.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eIs amber enough to work by? For walkways, marking, orientation and general task lighting, yes. For detailed work where colour assessment matters, choose the neutral white Ledrope PRO. Ground anchor poles for along a dyke or across a meadow, metal clips for scaffolding tubes or construction fencing, magnetic clips for steel surfaces, a two-metre profile for permanent mounting. A reel or trolley to roll out fifty metres in one go. A Y-splitter feeds two light hoses from a single connection.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eTwo accessories are far from optional when it comes to amber. The motion sensor with a six-metre range keeps the light off as long as nobody is passing through, reducing burning hours and keeping light levels within the limits your permit allows. The emergency power battery maintains one hour of light at 50 watts in the event of a power failure, across four settings from 100 to 10 percent. On the lowest setting, considerably longer than an hour.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eEvery component works with any length you already have, amber or white. Waarom verstoort amber licht minder? +
Nachtdieren reageren vooral op het blauwe deel van het spectrum. Amber bevat dat nauwelijks, waardoor vliegroutes, jachtgedrag en verblijfplaatsen grotendeels ongestoord blijven.
Vervangt amber licht een ontheffing? +
Nee. Amber licht is een mitigatiemaatregel die het bevoegd gezag vaak als voorwaarde stelt. Of je ecologisch onderzoek of een ontheffing nodig hebt, hangt af van locatie en werkzaamheden. Je ecoloog of de omgevingsdienst beoordeelt dat.
Kan ik amber en wit in één lichtslang combineren? +
Technisch wel: beide koppelen op dezelfde powercord. Of het mag, bepalen de voorwaarden in je ontheffing.
Hoeveel meter kan ik koppelen op één aansluiting? +
Tot vijftig meter. Dat is twee rollen van twintig plus één van tien. Wil je verder, dan komt er een tweede aansluiting bij.
Kan ik de lichtslang op maat knippen? +
Nee. Je kiest 10 of 20 meter en schroeft die aan elkaar met IP54-koppelingen. Daardoor blijft elke verbinding fabrieksmatig dicht én combineer je de rollen eindeloos anders.
Kan ik later uitbreiden? +
Ja. Elke nieuwe rol past op de rollen die je al hebt, en alle accessoires werken met elke lengte, amber of wit. Zolang je onder de vijftig meter per aansluiting blijft, koppel je gewoon door.
Is er een elektricien nodig? +
Voor een tijdelijke opstelling niet: de IP54-koppelingen zijn spatwaterdicht en hebben geen open contacten. Voor een vaste installatie op het net gelden de normale regels.
Kan de slang buiten blijven liggen? +
Ja. Het product is IP65, stofdicht en bestand tegen waterstralen, en de koppelingen zijn IP54. Het werkbereik loopt van −15 tot 65 °C, dus ook een hele winter langs een dijk.
Wordt er een stekker meegeleverd? +
Nee. Je kiest zelf de powercord die bij de installatie past: 1,5 meter neopreen met EU-stekker voor tijdelijk werk, of de Frontwire van drie meter voor een vaste opstelling.
